BE FILIPINx TO JOIN?
No you don't have to be Filipinx to join! KP is not Filipinx exclusive, so if you are interested, join! There are a lot of members who are also not Filipinx!
IS IT ToO LATE TO JOIN?
It's never too late to join! We welcome anyone to join during anytime of the year, even after AKA!
WHAT DOES KAPATIRANG MEAN?
Kapatirang Pilipino is Tagalog for "Filipino brotherhood/sisterhood"

Why do we use pronouns?
KP is a safe space for everyone. The practice of stating your pronouns and asking others for theirs promotes inclusivity and avoids anyone from assuming one's gender identity.
Why do we perform
iSang bagsak?
Isang Bagsak (meaning one down) was a ritual originally done by anti-martial law activists in the Philippines. Now this ritual is done at the end of events to show unity within the community.
why Filipinx/o/a?
The "X" in the term Filipinx is the gender neutral alternative to Filipino and Filipina which is masculine and feminine respectively. We use Filipinx to be inclusive to everyone.
Is this a high commitment
organization?
Not at all! Don't feel bad if you can't make it to an event. It is all up to you when you want to come out!
